Hi everyone,
My name is Graeme and I write games in my spare time for fun. I'm a career software developer and currently work as a senior manager at Expleo, the world's largest software quality consultancy.
In 2020 I released my pet project mobile adventure game Otherworld: Epic Adventure and went on to spin out another game Otherworld: Circuit Puzzles from the same source code. Everything is written in Xamarin C# as its portable between platforms and I use photography rather than graphics (basically as I'm not much of a graphic designer).
I started with mobile games because I wanted to experiment with some of the technologies especially around test automation, CI/CD and the all the stuff around marketing and publishing of mobile apps today.
The games are fully playable and we've had some great customer feedback however they are also vanilla with not a lot of cool features. Over the next few months I'll be enhancing these and blogging here on itch about any cool technologies or approaches that I'm using so others can benefit from my successes and learn from my mistakes.
